Okehi LGA, Kogi State

Okehi Local Government Area (LGA), is headquartered in the town of Obangede, within the Kogi Central Senatorial District. It borders the Adavi, Lokoja, Akoko edo and Kabba-Bunu LGAs. It comprises several towns and villages, including Erika, Ihima, Ikuehi, Ohueta, Okaito, Omavi,Uboro, and Obangede. Covering an area of 688.1 km², the LGA had a population of 223,774 according to the 2006 census, which was projected to rise to 301,300 in 2022 with a density of 437.8/km².
